i forgot to circle the part, but its the part that lets air go from the intake manifold to a splitter, allowing air go to the brake booster. if you need anymore info on the part, i have another pic...

i adjusted the distributor and ignition timing and it's running better, but it still lags a little, it doesn't overheat anymore, and i also gave it a complete tune up.
it is an 88 gt, i don't know if that really matters
i am trying to adjust my timing, does anyone know where it is supposed to be set, and how the distributor is supposed to set, what faces where, my number one point points towards the steering wheel,...

i think i was screwed, my engine says HO, but the firing order is set for standard 5.0, i changed to HO order, and it was misfiring like hell. this may sound dumb, but how would you fix the teeth...
my cousin said he checked the timing and it's in between the lines, the only thing i can do is take it somewhere and get it checked out, but that will cost me an arm and a leg, if i can get someone...
