well....last time it went away, it was because the animal that they made it out of became extinct.

So either they rediscovered the original animal elsewhere, or they cloned it from DNA ala "Jurasic Park"...otherwise, they are using a new animal.

Hopefully the can sustain a breeding population this time so that our supply is unlimited.

The McRib is part of the special sandwhiches. It comes back ever year for a month or until McD's runs out of the meat or buns.

The McRib is back until January this time.....but then it is gone forever. They are going to retire the sandwich and never bring it back. I am going to miss it once it is gone.
