Does anyone know if the 05 roush stage 1 is a v6 or v8?

The thing is it goes for around 28 t0 30,ooo I thought that was the price of a stock v8 mustang

If youre looking at 28-30 its a V6

stock is 25-27 for a GT

so it has 3-5k in mods..

Stage one is basically an overpriced body kit. At least it has been on former mustangs

hm... I've seen 2 '05 stangs that didn't look like v6's or GT's... I thought they might be Cobras, but not from the pix I've seen... not a Roush either I see.

They both had the M3-like vents on the sides, weird rear/front ends... they both were identical though in looks. 1 yellow 1 maroon, just out driving on the way home from work. Wish I coulda seen them better.

Stock what do they come with? A short throw shifter, CAI, different suspension, and a body kit? Am I missing anything?

Some interier stuff also but I think its more of a price jump than 5 but I could be wrong.

Yeah I just kind of estimated what I thought would be the minimum price increase. For the price of a stage one you could build a GT that would destroy stage II's maybe even III's. Don't Stage III's only run low 13s high 12s? Don't see how they are worth more than double the price of a GT.

Was it the Saleen? I saw the review of the new one in Motor Trend and it was only a tenth faster in the 1/4 mile and it didn't even pass an emissions test. What a bunch of crap for a car that price.

see greg at gld mine is a stage 1 sport 12.93 at 109.mph but hey i did a few exhaust bolt ons

I was talking stock. Lucky if they can get in the mid 13s. Don't understand paying for the name "Roush" when the performance upgrades are minimal. On stage 1 and 2 that is.

stage 3 will be over 410 hp at rear wheels will prob put then in the high eleven sec low 12 range
