Sweet. Looks like $100 well spent! You've gotta love getting 2 boxes of parts with a bike.

I stripped her down to frame, motor, and electrical tonight. Was going to just pull and replace the clutch pedal, but I think I want to make a few attitude changes while its apart. Any seat ideas?

First oil change tonight, or the first half of it anyways. Previous owner apparently didnt own " the right " tools and rounded the **** out of this old rusty bolt head. And my vice grips didnt do the job, so I used my cut off wheel and grinder to get the head off. Had a replacement ready to go, welded a socket onto the bolt and its like new

And here are two photos of the bike without the seat / tank. Still looking for ideas on mounting a solo seat on there ( suggestions would be appreciated ;-) )

Haha, somebody photoshop a old bicycle banana seat on there... also, if you can, handlebar tassles would look sweet.

You know what would look pretty cool on that bike, is a satin color theme, no shiney stuff. Like that one dude that builds bikes that's been on the Discovery Channel... Russell Mitchell from Exile Cycles. Black and silver

Everything is going to be flat black on this bike

I stripped all the marker lights / directionals off today and started making plans for my new brake light/plate mount as well as some brainstorming about this seat ordeal. Oh yah, I am lowering the bike 5 inches in the rear too ;-)

Sweet. I can see how you could possibly make that five inch drop work in the rear, but what about the front forks? Leave them be or... ?

Dunno what I am going to do to the front yet. Might just get longer fork tubes, 21" front wheel, and rake it by cuttint the down tube and welding a section in. I am just going to leave it for now though, wanna get the rear done and a seat mounted so I can play around for a little before the snow hits
