Non union

Only thing I need is a cordless drill and sawzall for easy PVC cutting.

There are a bunch of tools on the truck, hammer drill, sawzall, ect. ect.

I just want my own stuff :thumbsup

I dont think union or non shops provide non power tools like screw drivers and end nips, limans pliers ect. ect. ( if so thats nuts ) I would never expect for a company to pay for non power tools.

Everything else is there :thumbsup

When I was an electrician we always worked with Iron Fireman, Pro Tech and a few others I can't remember right now

I always thought my job was bad until I saw what they had to do, especially with those damn unicos :)

Oh... I thought that maybe they made you buy all the power tools yourself...

Right... Hand tools should be the workers responsibility no doubt....
Power tools are a different story though.
The company should pay for power tools.
If they give you a corded sawzall / corded drill... use it.
Dont bring your OWN tools to work. Thats just LETTING them take
advantage of you.
If you go out and buy your own cordless drill / cordless sawzall, they'll
think theyre off the hook for buying you the things that you NEED
to save the company time. :(
Not saying anything bad about your company specifically, just talking in
general. Ive met some real asshole bosses that WILL take advantage of
guys like that.

Anywho.... back to the topic of getting your ass some tools! :D

Ebay has some good deals sometimes on used (but great condition) power tools.... (which Im sure you already looked)
Also the website www.stealitback.com has some good deals on tools which are Police Auctions.

HTH!!
