Just saw the episode... the Honda team sounded like idiots asking for 20-25 cars...

guy with honda went to the hospital that night after losing his car with a nervous breakdown and stress related issues. so they sold him his civic back for like $300, but they really could have kept it. There's a picture on LS1tech of the Civic, and how they took off the front bumper so the slicks would fit. Well then there is another picture of the Civic's front bumper in the CAM guys shop behind their dyno. Funnies thing in the world.

Looked like a far cry from 9.3 on the show, but I believe you.

Justin Burcham's mustang was pretty crazy on the show for what it was, if you saw it. It was a Notch with a mild 331 and small shot in it, and I guess it runs like high/mid nines.

i wish i could find that whole episode, would be cool to see. they knew what they had, and they guessed the import to be a guy claiming 10's but more like a mid 12 car, so they pulled back on timing to save the car a bit as well as a bit less boost than normal from what they were saying. They were suprised with the Civic. But still jsut a funny episode. if anyone finds the mustang one, that'd be cool to post up

the mustang one was awesome. He put the car on the bumper with the one hard launch he gave it. The Civic episode was embarrassing. He set import owners back 8 years by asking for 20.
