I got to the strip! I went 10.50@ 136.34. I was hopeing to go faster, but the track was way too busy to make any passes. This was on 315/35/17 drag radials and Citgo 93 octane @ 15 psi. I wish I had more time to dial in the suspension. I only hooked a 1.80 second 60'. Last year I did a 1.60 60', but the car did not have turbos. A few more launches and I would have pulled off a high 9 second run. Oh well, always next year!

Major problem though! :crying I was at redline down the entire track! The rpms would not come down. Found out I have too much power for my 9" converter. That's why I am blowing through it soo bad. I called Hipster and it sounds like they will take care of me.

Good to know I have more in it. I should have no problem hitting a good 145 mph on pump gas without meth or nitrous or anything.

All in all, not bad for a pumpgas car with a raceweight of about 3,840 lbs. :thumbsup

How big are the heads and cam? How high does the motor rev? (If you don't mind me asking) :)

The cam is one level above stock. It is 224 duration with .581 lift. The heads are stock ported heads. I was going through the traps at about 7000 rpm. I normally do not shift above 6000 rpm. But... do to a bad converter, I ended over revving the motor a little to make a pass.
