Today was it... tranny went and with other latest issues Im just going to wrap it up and call it a season. Heading back home from pounding on it around Holy Hill I lost 4th and then 3rd gears- it was very interesting limping it home at the mid & top of 2nd gear. And then...Yesterday it got backed into and the pass rear fender is banged up pretty bad.
I'll be out & about still in one of the other vehicles. Its going to have major remodeling done to it over winter, so until then... happy trails & C-ya in spring!

Is the car an auto or manual?

Its a 700R4, and over the last few months or so the cars been slipping out of gears more and more often. Most of the time (beginning this summer) to hold a lower gear while shifting manually I had to keep on the throttle or it would go one higher on me on its own. I let the car cool down a few hours tonight and 3rd & 4th are still not engaging. 138K miles/ bone stock - Im happy the trans lasted this long the way I drive it.

Prob Gillette Body and Paint. Im going to stick to the plan of having bodywork/paint done after motor/trans/rear/susp. Havent decided for sure yet...maybe paddle?

Hi John, that makes 2 F-bodys cruising around Holy Hill on Saturday. Sounds like some good things are going to happen to yours. I put a few miles on mine and topped off the tank before wedging it in the corner for the winter. It was a sad summer, grand total of 40 miles this year. :wow

What color was this CBR? I know a few of my buddies were out there on Sunday...and 2 of them have F3's.

It seems like mine was always the "factory freak" of the carbed 600's as I would constantly smack my buddies around like I was racing a 250...even though they had the same bikes except a year newer :confused
