why do u guys know something i dont know...from the two times jason was at the track first time was a 13.9 and i believe the second time he ran a 13.4....so unless he has done something which he claimes he hasnt i should be able to pull off a 13.4 with the better weather and drag radials. so that i think should be close. as far as johnny well who knows how fast it is. its all in fun anyway. im shooting for low 13's and just maybe a 12.99 or something if i can launch right.

You're ganna put drag radials on a stock rear end for a few races you know you're probably going to lose?

With hot tires and a good launch you should be good for high 12's. Good luck man, just don't launch too hard! My rear is making some noises now :puppyeyes A 12 bolt isn't too far off.

no im putting them on to get traction instead of spinning the crap out of my kuhmos and to get a better times....that doesnt make sense?

i dont care that much about beating them...its always been in fun...we have been talking about going to the track for a long time anyway. and i think i do have a shot at beating them.

i should be ok with the stock rear end as long as im not doing stupid 5k launches or something like that.

Of cource that makes sence, I'm saying I've made about 8-10 passes with 3.5k launches and drag radials, and my rear is making some noises and leaking a little but. I'm just saying be carefull!

Yep, the AWD cars didn't fair very well at GLD. I'll let J speak on his own behalf, but I ran a 25.882@45.25MPH (I have the slip to prove it!). I did have a 1.976 60' on that run though... :shades

Johnny boy bested a 13.3 @ 110 with the stock F1's on a 2.36 60'. I never took it to the track with sticky tires. I asked Dave if I could run it last night, he just ignored me and walked away... :)

thanks!

and i still had crappy 60 ft times...best of the night was a 1.975

my best run i had a 2.0 60 ft time.

traction is still somewhat of a problem i still need lots of practice i think...i was also chirping 3rd sometimes as well.

OK, we'll go down again before winter hits. That'll give me a little time to tune my slow car and maybe get it into the teens... ;)

If you can make it a Tuesday night I can come out with my AWD soccer mom car. Heck, the sooner the better. I still have a slipping stock clutch, and am VERY inconsitent with it. I keep getting crappy 1.7xx 60' times with this thing, and it slips after I shift gears too.

I couldn't seem to launch my wagon for sh1t Friday night. I bogged the launch about 3 times and then launched like a sally the other couple times. Nothing worth noting. Car felt pretty good though, I just didn't drive it.

launching at 3500 rpm (sally) here was my best run:
2.17 60 ft.
14.2 @ 98 mph

I had reset the ECM prior to making a pass after adding some 100 octane and the car wasn't relearning fast enough. Next time I won't reset it prior to making a pass. My mistake. MPH started to come around towards the end of the night but ran out of time.

The car had mid 13's in it friday night given about another 45 minutes or so and me taking off the skirt and high heels. :(

Yea, you drive like a sally, but you still beat my 25.8!!! :goof
