A Fantastic Cruise

Well the Cruise today was a great time. I didnt get an exact count of cars but I beleive it was close to over 20. I put in my DOORS CD and we all rolled out.

The route that was taken was BEAUTIFUL. Im going to get a map from GLDGreg and go for a ride again next weekend with my family.

Everyone behaved the themselves (pretty much ;) ) and no breakdowns.

I missed one turn but got back on track. :chair:

That Black 427 Camaro is freakin sweet....Sounds AMAZING....And frigiin fast

The Blue Rousch Mustang had everyone drooling........

Doc Daves Nova is just the way you should build a fast a$$ old school nova.....

Stealth ZR2 showed up with his ...ZR2.... But he kept it on the pavement.. :rolf

And Slowc5's C5 is by far the LOUDEST C5 I have ever heard..... And goes like a raped ape..

We went to The Mineshaft and had a great lunch......talking about POLITICS the whole time............jk

All cars looked good and everyone was safe.......Met some great freinds today.

Thanks to the orginizers.......I needed a nice day like this to drive before I put the car away for the year.

The family had a great time other than Jacob did not want to leave the arcade at the restuarant. I didn't to talk to to many people because I was showing off the ExcelaWash (http://wi.excelawash.com) product to individuals, but I am sure we will meet again sometime.

That black SS was sweet, and omg killer sounding! I do think the award for the loudest car was Jeff and his C5 :wow I didnt know that kickass S10 was Stealth ZR2, cool truck man

YES indeed today was a great way to spend a saturday afternoon. :thumbsup I enjoyed seeing all the sweet rides and getting to hear that 427 again...man is that thing loud, speaking of loud GOD DANG that C5 was SCREAMING :headbang ! All in all i loved all the cars and had a blast just cruising through the "scenic route" with my bro, lunch was good and to finish the day blowing the doors off 2

yah, blew my doors off, i don't quite consider catching me at 110 blowing my doors off, but okay jeremy. andy for sure wasn't even getting on it. besides, if a heavily modded up LS1 can't beat up on a Bolt on V6 family sedan, there's something wrong. besides, at least i'm not spitting out excess fuel out my exhaust....

Thanks, but Greg deserves most of the credit for putting things together. My wife did take down directions for the route this year, so we can have a basic route description for next year. This should help us prevent the separation and mis-direction we had this year for folks that are not familiar with the area.

Had a great time. Good to see we had no breakdowns or accidents; think we came close on some of those over the hill stop signs. But then you get a different view of things being the anchor car!

Yeah Whitethunder... My car did USE TO BE Dave's. Hasnt changed really since he owned it, Just put in a different grill. The only cop I noticed stealth, was out at hwy K and 83, He was off to the left from the stop sign. He already had someone pulled over though. Kinda pointed him out to whoever could see, didnt want to get any unwanted attention to our crowd. Was a Great ride... Especially after some people started finding out where the gas pedal was. :D Just a few too many Mustangs for my liking.... but definitly liked that ROUSH. Would have liked to have seen a few more representatives from the General, but what are ya gonna do? All in All, a wonderful day... Beautiful scenery, and the Sound and Smell of Muscle, (except maybe that single lone import :D , j/k) Was nice getting to know some new poeple.

Big thanks go out to Greg for setting up the route and to Dave for taking up the rear and rescuing a few lost cars,lol.
It was nice getting the 3 sites together,but I think the only person I met from here was Andy.

GrimreaperSS, you just have to get the word out to your GM brethren than they need to get out and get involved. The people on our site (MMA) show up and take part in our club events. :D

As for the "no accidents" parts, we had two very close calls. One, before we got to the park-and-ride, a semi that was heading onto highway 16 decided at the last moment that he was going to go onto 94 west and cut over directly in front of me and almost caused a multi-car pileup.

Then, as we were rounding that curve before the entrance to Holy Hill, some kid in a WRX was flying around that curve the other way, going so fast that his tires were scrubbing the sidewalls and he was on the edge of losing it. He would have killed me if he didn't make it around that curve. Was heading right for my door. I also had my wife and daughter with me. That could have been rather ugly.

I dont want to make this in to "one of those threads", but I didnt have to TRY! It wasnt that close anways.... I still had about 3 car lengths between the van and I. The scary part was siting at the next stop sign after that turn. Thought there was going to be a big pile up. That old school coupe sure got on the binders hard.... rear tires locked up, smoke everywhere. All this excitment sure did make for a great time though. :thumbsup
Sorry Greg... Wish I could.... Dont belong to any other clubs. Maybe will have to "recruit" a few I know to BCM though.
