i have really been thinking about getting a diesel jetta for my next car, only problem is that its a jetta. 50 mpg hwy is sooo tempting though

Fock that 9yr wait for your return.....then after the price of the batteries I see no point to buying a hybrid unless you worry about mother nature 200 yrs from now. I'd take a diesel too, or a good, daily, economical, cheap car...like say a Honda Civic ;)
