It's like your Working just to pay for gas !!!!!!!!!!

So im looking for a job and found one today :thumbsup

There looking for trainee guys :thumbsup

25 miles to get there from my house times 5 days a week M-F = 250

Gas will probably hover around 2.80 for ever :fire

My car gets 27 mpg / by 250 miles = 9.2 ish, so lets say 10 gal. per week

2.80 x 10gal. = $112 per week $448 per month.

And thats just to get to work................

Focking bullshit.

And im sure there are a bunch of guys here that drive a heck of allot more then 25 miles to get to work.

Just figured id vent because this job will probably pay 9-10 (guess)

So out of a month at $10 a hour it will be around $1100, $448 go's for gas :wooo not to mention rent, cell phone bill, car insurance.

I feel your pain.
I just struck out with my new job... and couldnt have been at a better time.
I went from having to budget over $650/month for gas & tolls to commute to my former job in Chicago from Burlington to now having a company vehicle I get to take home with me and use company gas card.
SBC & Time Warner have similar setups where you can take a vehicle home.

Hey I work in Burlington- I've always wondered if that was your car I see every once in a while.

I commute from Milwaukee to Burlington every day- I feel your pain. The Regal doesn't get THAT bad of mileage though.

My gas bill is between 700 and 1100 doallars a month! That's what some peoples house payments are.
