I just noticed this over the past few days myself....I use it rarely but it worked a couple weeks ago or so, then this week went to download some songs and nothing. I assumed it was a problem with my wireless network or cable connection somehow....hmm.

WinMX started to really suck so I started using bear share dot com. It's a really great application (for now) if you can deal with the pop-up crap.

nice thing is -- if you have XP you have virus protection, and pop-up blocker.

I have Bearshare, but it killed the pop-up blocker. now I have bearshare, and no required pop up crapper.
