Well, I am running! Pretty good too! I have yet to get it to the track and have only used 10 lbs of boost, but this thing is FAST! Last year all motor I was going 123 in the quarter. From my street blasts, I would say I am sitting at around the 130-135 mph range with 10 psi. That is my best guess with my butt-o-meter.

I am very impressed with the turbo setup and it is a very well thought out design. Being that this is only a street car, I am wondering if I should turn up the boost. I am sitting at abut 11:1-11.2:1 AFR with 17 degrees of timing.

Damn that looks bad ass. Think of getting the headers hpc/jet hot coated?

Where did you mount the coil packs? Fender well?

I probably will not coat the headers. Not yet anyway. I mounted the coil pacs under the headers.

Thanks for the compliments!

I never thought I'd see a *great* looking LS series engine...I have now been proven wrong :thumbsup

What's that chevelle weigh? Have you changed anything to the motor since the NA set-up? Hell, what is the build in the first place for those of us who may have missed it in a previous post?

The car weighs about 3700 without driver. I sold the 427" tall deck 18 degree fuel injected small block in it last year. Way to pricey. This motor is a stock ls1 engine with a few upgrades like ported heads and aftermarket rods and pistons. I won't bore you with the details.

The car hooks much better then it did with the 427. I am hoping for a 60' in the 1.55 range on 17" drag radials. I guess I'll have to wait and find out.

Thanks for all the compliments!!

I saw your car a while back at that car show in Burlington. I was really suprised to see a twin turbo LS1 under the hood. Nice car.

Actually, that wasn't me, I've never been to a car show in Burlington with the car. It's only been done for the last couple weeks, had to Solid Gold and Georgie Porgies and that's it so far.

With your AF the way it is now I would crank it up or add a little more timing. You are very safe. Especially with forged internals. 15psi would probably feel pretty good. Set it up so youre right around 12.0-1 AFR.

so there is another white Chevelle with a twin turbo LS1? I just figured it was you because it looked to be set up the same and it's not like you see a combo like that to often.

Yep, I am local. What other twin turbo cars are there? I heard of a mopowered regal, and saw a 55 chevy. There sure arent many? :confused

Yep, I am local. What other twin turbo cars are there? I heard of a mopowered regal, and saw a 55 chevy. There sure arent many? :confused There's a Mopar big block twin turbo EFI Cutlass that I took pictures of here: http://www.brewcitymuscle.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9003 that rumor has, runs high 8s. That yellow TopStreet 78 Chevy Truck has a twin turbo small block (http://www.top-street.com/projectchevy.html). I can think of a handful of fast Stealth/3000GTs (http://www.brewcitymuscle.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9389), an F40 etc. but you probably didn't mean factory turbocharged cars :)

PS: Nice looking motor under the hood! Wish I had that much room to work on mine! :D
