I found that Great Lakes Dragaway is holding an event called "Halloween Havoc I" on Saturday, October 29th.

I am sure the wheelstand contest won't be as good as the Byron "Annual World Power Wheel Standing Championships on "Sun. October 9th-11th" but it still sounds like a good time and it's a hell of a lot closer than Byron. I plan on attending both! It's cool to see GLD putting on a Wheelstand contest of their own. :thumbsup

I can't seem to edit my own post.. :confused

So anyhow it seems GLD removed the capability to remote-link their images. :rolleyes: I guess you can visit www.greatlakesdragaway.com and hope the flyer image that I am referring to, stays on the front page.

They are having a Wheelstand and Burnout contest combined (both judged on distance.)

How was this? Did anyone go? I woke up too late (long night Friday :D) and it said the action started at 1 PM. I checked MidwestMustang later on and it sounded like the action was moved way back so I wish I had gone nonetheless.

For someone "as deeply involved with GLD as you" I woulda thought you'd appreciate my relentless and unselfish GLD-event advertising, considering I don't get anything out of it (except for a baffling bit of animosity from you every now and then.)
