on the last version of Vbulletin (2.0) i had the option within your editing of posts to delete your own post. it was helpful when double posting, as well as making a stupid comment in the heat of the moment, etc. to re-iterate, when you make a post, then you go to edit, there is an option to delete the post....

thats not going to happen...
This is specifically disabled. This has been abused in the past. Someone spouts off, and deletes it before admins can see it. It's mainly the trolls that do this crap.

There's no going back on what you said after 5 mins.

Admins will clean up a double post when they see it.

:thumbsup I can appreciate that call!

Not to be a "Kiss-Ass" but Andy so far you are the most compatible admin I've met on a messageboard I've participated on (I tend to butt heads with the admins sooner or later) No complaints here (except that 2 minute New Posts timeout (http://www.brewcitymuscle.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6253) :goof )

I try... I'll look into that 2 min rule... sounds like something default... not something I set.

it's not set to 2 mins... it's set to 30 seconds
which is pretty resonable I think :confused

which is pretty resonable I think :confused Damn!!! That's extreme. Most sites I visit have it set to 10-15 minutes? So you can view a few posts and still click on New Posts to read the rest from the last time you logged in. It may have to do with the auto logout timer? :confused
