1/4 13.623@106.04

after 9 runs that was my best run...the last run...i was starting to at least get consistant 2.2 60ft the last 3 runs...the first 6 60 foot times were crap...but for the most part my traps were all consistant 106 mph.

i need to get that ***** to launch better i was having a terrible time. of course is the first time ive been to the track with something faster then 16 seconds....lol

Way to go!!

First time is always a pain in the ass. especially on a stock 10 bolt with street tires in a 6speed , hahaha. best thing i ever did was practice the "1 thousand 1" approach to clutch slippage from a 2500 rpm start walking into the throttle slowly. 1.9's consistently on street tires. but that's after about 100 passes learning the car way back with my '93 Z

Good times though! Figure with a 2.0 you'll be very low 13's

Spinning 2.2 ST's and still pulling out mid 13's is
a nice first trip out! One 2.0 ST and I bet it drops
ET 3-4/10's.

What track? I was at GLD last night but it was thick
and sticky, pretty bad racing conditions I was way down
on power as was everybody I talked to.

i was neck and neck with the silver SS i seen him only running 13.8's most of the night. smoked two mustang GT's and i ran faster then the buick t-type was there but i had a slow ass reaction time...

Well knowing you ran the swamp air last night I would not
read to much into time slips. Hit it again when the humidity
is measurable, last night sucked as bad as it has in recent
memory. I had a bud's slicks on last night and was hard pressed
to better my normal street tire times.

i remember dropping 3-4 tenths from just crappy air. and that was all in one day at a track rental down in indiana. but you got some good baseline runs that you get to improve on!

Get some slicks, a 9" w/ a spool, and go for some 1.4's like I do :)

i looked up the weather although it was about 63-70 degrees humidity was at like 85-90%

i think that puts you up around the 2000' DA, where GLD is normally around 700' above sea level.

Sweet. That's just about identical times to what I ran the first time. 02 Z M6 on street tires.
