It's not the same guy. The Admiral is NOT a Mexican citizen as the first article claims our drug dealing friend is, he is an American. Also, Admiral Betancourt now resides in San Diego, CA., NOT Brownsville, TX. Admiral Betancourt is also 57, not 52 as the article claimed our lucky coke dealer was. I must admit that it is a bit of a coincidence that two guys sharing the same name and being similar in age should be from the same area (at least at one point in their lives). :wow *insert Twilight Zone theme here*

yeah i know it isnt even close to being the same guy, BUT the coincidence is uncanny...the admiral, although not a mexican citizen, did immagrate to the U.S. from Mexico. and, their ages are even closer if you take into consideration that the age of the "criminal" could have been from 2002, when he originally committed the crime. :)
