It would be nice to have a station that actually was "metal" though-and I'm not talking the whiney Papa Roach/ Linkin Park/ Evenescance (that my immortal song makes me want to slit my wrists)- I mean like Slayer, Anthrax, Pantera, Testament, Hatebreed, Slipknot, Soulfly, Shadows Fall, Chimaira, vintage Metallica, etc...There's easily a good 25 years of heavy stuff they could choose from. Dont know how many people would actually listen though.

The closest station that I can think of where you are going to hear "heavier" metal would be JJO in Madison. they play some pretty damn decent tunes but depending on hwere you are it can be a pain to tune in to. Its wayyyy better than the B.O.G. (Bunch of GARBAGE) :fire

LOL, this reminds me, speaking of "SLAYER", my uncle has the drummer from SLAYER as his own drummer.

My uncle was also the lead singer for "REALM" if anybody has heard them... They would of made it big but he was into drugs back in the 80's.

But yeah HOG is garbage... Some songs were OK but WTF.

I think it's impressive that I get JJO from Milwaukee to West Bend and Slinger as it is, that's a long way from Madison! :thumbsup For some reason when you hit Slinger it comes in almost perfect. WJJO is a great station with an attitude. I remember one of their intermission station ID's from 2 years ago went something like this "94.1 WJJO! We don't play any Britney Spears, but we wouldn't mind seeing her naked!" :goof

They also have LESS song censoring/editing than any station around! :thumbsup

I agree. The hog is purely homo music. Lazer was the only decent radio station around. Now I have to go to madison (94.1 JJO) to hear the good stuff.
