I took it off a soverien model, but I thought that with simplicity, attachments fit the frame not the specific model. like a tractor.
no weights or chains

Brad,

That legacy needs a shaft drive snowblower head and a special ladder frame hitch to go under the tractor, the whole set up sells for like 2500 new.

The sovereign has a very simple hitch that mounts to the front axle and is belt driven from a rear PTO with a long ass belt on it.

Well the snow blower and plw its self will work on anything from a small regent(4200) series to a broadmoor, 5200 series, landlord, to the soveriegn...

just the mounting hitch asmy is the only thing that varies between models.

When you step up to a larger garden tractor like the legacy the smallest snowthrower you can get is a 42".

Yeah if the one you have runs off a front PTO its really old then, and probably has two idler pulleys right on the hitch instead of just one flat idler for the rear PTO newer units.

With that hitch it will only fit like early 80's and older 7100 series tractors with the manual front pto clutch.
