it's so easy to replace those parts since everything is out of the way. think of it like cheap insurance. as for the clutch, i loved my spec stage 3 with the sintered iron disc. probably more than you need. Tom had great luck with the LS6 clutch, but now has a spec. i think it'd be a toss up. hopefully tom can get in here cause he's had better/more experiences with the different LS1 clutches than i have.

Dave i sent you a PM on MWAS yesterday, not sure if you got it or not.

Its really up to you, If you got the cash, i reccomend the spec stageII, but you need a new flywheel as well, im sure the old one has more waves than the ocean and its better than getting the old one turned and it will possibly warp just as easy.

I run a stage III i ceramic and can do 5500 side steps in 2nd gear on slicks and kill the motor....

Im happy with Spec clutch's but that stock LS6 clutch in mine last 32,000 miles of HARD drag racing.

I need to fix your hydraulics and stuff too and get wilwood high temp dot 3 in there as well to ensure it will work good all the time.

yeah i got the link...since my dad is paying for fixing it he decided to have the shop order the z06 clutch kit and get a new master and slave cylinder and have them fix the knock sensors while they were at it.

its going to be pricey and i tried arguing with my dad about having you do it but he is stubborn and i dont have much choice cause i dont have the money for it right now.
