well i didnt really listen too well to john that the clutch was going and that if i babied it...it would last. :durr

one burnout + a lot of this :3gears: thursday and friday led to this on saturday.....

looks like ill be buying a z06 clutch sooner then i thought :eek:
i drove it to elkhorn saturday morning and it started slipping bad and worse on the way home. i chanced driving to my friends house got there and decided i better head back cause it was so bad and about half way back it wouldnt engage for nothing so we pushed it through the intersection down to the pdq and had it towed to auto shop my dad likes.

oh well i guess live and learn...haha hopefully i can get the clutch installed quickly.

try the spec stage 3 carbon. i had it in my ss. had over 75 passes on it, with about half of those on the hose. :headbang

Go with a spec. Seem to be the clutch of choice for most. Specs great, I like it. I found mine on Ebay new for about $450, Stage III, catches pretty high, but you'll get used to it.

I put a ACT stage 3 in the rx7... I love it.

SPEC was another one I concidered. Heard good things on both.

i went the z06 clutch kit and got a new master and slave cylinder.

when that one goes ill be getting the spec stage III.

I think that's fair. My car is at best a high 13 second car, I just have the advantage on the launch. I think you would prolly walk me, but it might be worth the $200 just in case you didn't... :shades
