I think that's a testament to how bad ass bull terriers are :wooo http://petcaretips.net/bull_terrier.jpg

I mean, jeez...many other dogs would have just kind of given up after the first few pricks or so! That dog looks like he un-wittingly de-thorned a whole porcupine :rolf

Porcupines are generally worthless animals that eat the bark of trees. When I was younger, my father used to take my brothers and I along when he went grouse hunting on my grandfather's 160 acres up north. When we were in the area of my uncles tree stand, we found a porcupine that had eaten the bark off of several trees (not completely) and part of my uncles permanent tree stand. We found the poor sucker and my father let us pluck away at it with our bbguns, he then shot it once with his 12 gauge and put it out of it's misery. One of the trees did die from the bark loss, unfortunately it was an older oak in a beautiful stretch of older growth.

Holy mother of god...I ever see one of those i will kill it, assuming i have my gun...Or a woodchuck...those things are ruthless, burrowing under my friends barn, destroyed foundation, had to rebuild half of it.

actually woodchucks are fairly aggressive, they have monsterous claws. one was living in my neighbor's foundation of her house and eating all my mom's veggie garden up. neighbors German Shepard caught the thing once and got ****ed up, while the woodchuck took off. needless to say i got the ****er with my paintball gun turned way up....

They're pretty fun to stick to a tree with an arrow though. :thumbsup

I'm not a tree hugger or anything, but what would be the point to it? I mean if you get pleasure in some way from it, you definately should seek counseling!

Sick people these days :confused

Porcupines kill trees, that is why you kill them if you're a property owner. A single porcupine can do significant damage to your land if you let them go unchecked. Killing it is the only way to protect your trees.

Thanks. Couldn't have said it better myself.

There's your answer 96s10. They fvck up our trees and my family's dog got quilled. Believe me, pulling all those out was no fun for me or the dog. Ever since then, if they're on my property, they die... Period.

I guess I should have explained my motives better but I can assure you I need no counseling. :loser

A german shep gut fud up by a woodchuck!?! One of my dad's business partner's scottish terrier took out a whole family of them. Mabey it is easier for small dogs.
