Isn't the "buy it now" price a little low?

there is NO WAY they are going to let that car go for $7400. It's either a typo and he meant $74000 or its a scam.

there has been alot of but wipes hi jacking accounts and doing this crap . what these focks are doing is when people are at work -they are hacking their accounts and putting the buy it now low --someone pays it and the scam the money before people get home from work . I saw the same thing on a 2001 ws6 convertable the person emailed me back and told me all this.
Ebay lets the auction go on to see what the hackers next move is as well as the feds . Hope they get those losers . Same guys that give you the ol . security update for your pay pal info --they always put a link in the email -if you copy it off the email and put it on a blank notepad document you see a totaly different link -- it funny i always send them back a email bomb ;)

well, the wheels are wrong, I never remeber there being a snorkel air cleaner on a Yenko 427, the rear tail panel looks wrong too. If it where a 60 Yenko Chevelle I could tell you more. The side stripes look wrong too.

if you read the auction the only part he admits to be a Yenko is the motor.....

Id say its a beautiful car either way. If the price is legit and the car is a fake its still awesome.

I emailed the person selling this car and questioned the buy-it-now price, they wrote back....total scam. Scam artist got the type of car wrong, read the first sentence!

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in my Chevrolet Corvette. I want you to know
that I closed my auction earlier because someone has offered me the buy it
now price, but didn't have all the money available. The price I want to
obtain for it is $7,400 (this price includes shippment and insurance
charges). I'm requesting a US $4,000 REFUNDABLE deposit prior shipping and
the balance to be paid after delivery and inspection. If you are not 100%
content with the car, you will ship it back on my expense to get your
deposit back. I am sure this will not happen, because it is a state of the
art vehicle and you will have no reason to reject it.

I'm in the Military and TNT-Carrier will manage me a low price for shipping
and if you will pay the money transfer taxes wich will be at $400, I will
pay for the shipping fees. I will arrange for you not to pay any duties when
the car will pass through customs. In this way the car will be delivered to
your home address. We found out that we cannot register the car here,
because it is an US model with US specs and Europe regulations are different
from the US ones. Also we didn't pay yet the duties for bringing it here and
if we sell it back to US there will be no more duties to be paid. Now we
have our money stucked with this vehicle, so the low price is for a fast
cash deal
The car is like new, completely working, low miles, 2002 model. It has
always been garage kept. It will be shipped via air freigth with TNT-Carrier
Air Cargo from Berlin, Germany and it will take no more then 5 days for the
car to arrive at the delivery location. The shipping costs and the insurance
taxes of the package will be down to me and you will pay the fees for
transferring the money (about 5% of the total amount). If you are not 100%
content with the car, you will ship it back on my expense to get your money
back. I am sure this will not happen, because it is a state of the art
vehicle and you will have no reason to reject it.

This is a large purchase and I would like to use a third party for this
transaction as I want a smooth and safe transaction. We will use Square
Trade, I have completed a lot of successful deals using them. I have a
purchase protection account of $20,000 with them. If this is your first time
using Square Trade here are their terms: if you will not receive the car
exactly as advertised or you won't receive it in 15 days since you made the
payment, Square Trade will refund you from my Square Trade account.

If you agree with these terms, please send me your full name, home and
shipping address so I can register the transaction with Square Trade asap.

Regards,

Danut Vlascianu

I think it would be hard to find a regular 69 Camaro in that condition for that price, let alone a Yenko

WHAT A TURD!

Since when do Yenko's come with ZL-1 alluminum 427's???

He Made "YENKO" cast allum blocks in the mid 70's but none were ever installed in these cars "as new"

Unfortunantly any a$$hole off the street can buy the decals and torque thrust wheels....

Its a fake... someone PLEAAAAAASEEEEE email him and ask to provide documentation from Ed Cunneen at the COPO connection that this car was verified actually what it is.

Its one thing if you gotta clone and you admit it, but thats BS when you start calling it real....
