Managed 430awhp and 416awtq on 93 octane at around 21 psi.

New exhaust, 900cc injectors....the new exhaust made alot more on the topend then the crappy Greddy EVO 2 did. (See second Dyno Chart).

Need to replace the clutch. Went to the track today, and could not launch for shizzle. Clutch was slipping (Stock Clutch W/ ACT pressure plate).

The STI is looking awesome!! Excellent pump gas numbers!

Are you still happy with the GT35R?? I think that I will be making my way towards that route sooner than later. I don't think that my 60-trim is going to cut it anymore--hell it is going to spool like a 14b with my stroker. I might as well get a little more powerful turbo.

Either way--PROPS!! :thumbsup :headbang :D

Is that the ATP kit? I know there's posted 400ish whp with the stock exhaust and intercooler on it, which is astounding at the least.

Nope this is the Ultimate Racing kit. They were the first shop out there to offer a gt35r kit for the WRX and STi. There is ALOT of power available yet, but I wanted it to be a bit more conservative, untill I get some cash for a Axis motor.

I actually feel that this setup is better as a daily driver. It is VERY easy to stay out of boost, but with the gearing of the STi it is VERY EASY to get into boost. Only problem is that when launching (while the clutch was good) redline in first gear came DAMN fast.

On a side note, I know a guy that has a custom gt35r kit from this shop on his WRX, no biggy there, BUT the shop converted his car to FWD. Yes, I realize that it is wrong wheel drive, but the suspension was setup specifically for this. From a roll that WRX is FAST.....I mean REALLY fast. He was putting 416fwhp down on only 15 psi. This guy is actually swapping out the 35r for a gt42, and is going to be revving the motor out to 10Krpm.

Yellow, anytime I am not working I would be willing to take you out in the car.....though, I do not really get the power going on the streets....so I suppose you could drive it if you want.

Embarresed to write this, but what the hell, with the slipping clutch I was only able to cut 2.3xx 60' times and run 13.7s @ 108mph. I cannot tell you how stupid I felt on the track, especially because I ran 13.2 stock. This setup has easy 11s all over it once I get the ACT clutch disc in, most likely in the next week or two.

Rick

wow, that is a HUGE offer to give to me...but I am a man of huge respect for people's property. People willkick me in the nuts I'm sure for turning down the opportunity to drive a GT35r Sti but I am not them. You know your car. Its your toy and not mine. So just an onramp rip is all I need to smile. I appreciate your offer and for your trust is saying I can drive it but I have to decline. Not to mention, if I drove it once, I would want it.... :thumbsup :rolf

I really would like to photograph the car if you have some time. PM me Rick and we can work out a date to do that.

Thanks

J
