420A is the name of the 2.0 DOHC 4 cylinder found in both the 2nd gen Non-turbo Eclipse/Talon and what is found in the DOHC Neons. It is meant to be derogatory. :D

It's always been marketed as a seperate vehicle. If u really don't believe me, see for yourself. www.dodge.com #3, it's a FACT that many people will continue to call it a neon until the end of time. Many do it jokingly, as I know a few of u do. :asshole :D I do it myself sometimes, I stopped giving two shits about the name long ago. But there are many who really still think of the car as nothing more than a 2.0 Liter, 16-second, rental car with a rice-tastic wing and turbo slapped on, when it's NONE of those things. Yeah, I sold my Civic SI for the SRT-4. It is so much easier having a 4 door with a kid than a 2 door. And the fact that I have a trunk now is great. No more custom box taking up the whole trunk.
I mean if you want to get technical, you can call an EVO a Lancer.

Then we pull up to a light and he parks 2 cars back instead of pulling up to me at a light PU$$Y? I mean he just looked stupid sitting back so far with no cars in front of him. You take a cobra, put some pipes on it, add a pulley and a few other goodies and you will get pretty close to the end of the streetable fwd qtr mile times.

Yes, the cobra costs waaaaaaaay more, but the potential of the cobra is much greater.

12.6 @ 360 hp is very respectable, but not anything special to me. Yes, that is faster than anything I own, but I would chose a different plan of action if I wanted to attain the same times.

With the Cobra, you get double the cubes, rwd, and a much friendlier powerband.

I would rather put a cobra in the 9's than an srt4. It is just so much more practical (but I'm not about to do so any time soon).

Yeah, I have to admit it's almost all 18 and 19 yr old kids buying this car now, and they can't drive worth a sh1t too!. John (Heat Seeker) was just telling me how the other white ACR SRT-4 is always up on HWY racing everybody (sounds familiar, doesn't it? :goof ), and he's so bad at driving stick that "he's making my car look slow". :chair: I think a frickin' Fiero beat the kid, and I don't see too many 13's@103+mph Fiero's up on the Hwy very often. Then it'll just get worse once the kid gets some mods, but still loses to 14 and even 15 second cars. I can just hear it now..."I smoked this white SRT-4, and he even had intake, exhaust, BOV, boost controller...them neons are slow as SHEIT, Y0!" :punch:

Yep Dodge just changed the window stickers in '05 and added the word Neon (I have my old 03's window sticker if u wanna see it, Chris, but I'm sure u don't :rolf ), but still left "Neon" off the car. And out of the whole owners manual. Not to mention the Dodge website still lists it as a seperate vehicle from the Neon called a "SRT-4".
I even toured the Assembly plant in Belvidere, IL, last summer and their brochures say "Welcome to the home of the Neon and the SRT-4" on them. Would u like a picture of that, Chris? :goof
