I'm looking for a early '90's T5 for parts. Mainly the output shaft. Even if it's making strange sounds, let me know what you have.

Doesn't anybody have or know of someone that has a broken T5 laying around???

Cash waiting.

The output shaft is the main part I'm in need of.

I have two one is a 92 WCT5 and the other is a 85 NWC unite. They both work great they are from V6 cars. I think the output shafts are the same for V6 and V8 cars. NWC $75 WC $150

If I can get some verification about the output shaft. I might be innterested in the WC unit.

Is there anything wrong with it that you are aware of?

Port I believe the output shaft is the same. I just spent an hour reading on thirdgen.org and I found three threads that stated it. I seached for V6 output shaft. You could prob. call a trans shop or go to 5speeds.com and email them and ask. I don't know what kind of engine you're putting this behind but I have a borg and beck racing clutch that will adapt the v6 trans to a v8 if you're interested. I've had a v6 trans behind the 350 in my s-10 for 80k miles and I got on it pretty hard once in a while. It still works great. Knock on wood.

Also, could you count the splines on the back end of the trans?

The driveshaft yoke output spline count is the same as a v8 car this I'm positive of. A lot of guys put LS1 aluminum driveshafts in there v6 cars. The only real diffence is the mainshaft they have a 14 spline shaft, also in the trans there is a different spline count for the gears to go on the input shaft. There is 30 some diffent input shafts for t5's.
