I'm looking at getting the AC recharged on my 94 v6 camaro. Does anybody know what refrigerant it uses? R-134 or R112? hopeully the former.

Just look on your core support shroud. I think R-12 was replaced by R-134 in 95 or 96, you probably have R-12. :thumbsup

Llook on the compressor. Someone might have converted it to 134a. compressor will say what refer. it has. Also, sometimes after a conversion, the service ports will have a quick-change adapter fitting installed.

look on the reciever/drier, every car has an information tag somewhere under the hood, generally on reciever or sturt tower, the tag will identify which fron and how much, if the car has been converted over there should ba a blue tag indicationg date and new amount of freon charge
