These are some pictures from my 2003-2004 cruise on the USS Enterprise, OIF, OEF. Most of the pics of are my jets, but not all of them. I thought you might want to see some of these. I don't have any good pics from the desert, because I didn't take many. But here ya go anyway.

Ha, I just saw the Blue Angels this morning when I was leaving base. They're based out of Pensacola and fly around here all the time. I looked up and saw them through my T-tops. I was thinking that would be a cool picture. I've been working on Hornets for 4 years now and they still amaze me every time I see one.

I'm an F/A-18 Avionics Tech. I pretty much troubleshoot/fix anything on a Hornet that has electricity in it's system. That's everything from flight controls, fuel systems, displays, lights, landing gear, generators, enviormental control, insturments, navigation, steering, engine control, wepons systems, etc, etc, etc. I also deal a lot with hyd systems with flight controls and engines with indication/vibration/throttle gripes. The job that I do makes us pretty effective troublshooters with knowing most of the aircraft so we do a lot of that for other shops sometimes. We're kind of the "go to" guys. I love it. So, after 4 1/2 years I re-enlisted and am here in Pensacola right now attending an Advanced Avionics cource. This will take about 8 months, then it's back to SC, and back to my babies (jets) and kids (jounior guys)! I can't wait. I love it.

Dornier 335, one of my favorites! One of the many German aircraft that never got any recognition. Those Germans had a lot of cool stuff. Good thing they were all too late! But revolutioary stuff none the less.
