Two yellow C5's, the first I was behind last week headin south on 83 near 94, had a Borla exhaust which sounded real sweet and the license plate XSESSIV. Was lowered too, very nice car. The second takes the cake though. Today in Delafield on 83 just south of 94, yellow C5 with C5R wing, lights, hood, etc. Thought it was a ferrari when I caught it in my side mirror! He flew by me, givin it alittle gas and damn did that baby purrr!!!! License plate was CASH FLO. Coolest C5 I have seen thus far!!

I think that car belongs to Rick Almandi. I met him up at Road America a few years ago at Viper Days. He used to have another yellow Mallett. Not sure if the old one was a 435 or a 396.

The new one leads me to believe that the old one was a 396. The new one is a Vortech supercharged Mallett 435, the only one they built in 2003. Here's the link to Mallett:

Sorry to bump such an old thread, I just stumbled upon this thread (and this forum) on a google search of my license plate to see what was out there. :D

The "XSESSIV" car is mine. The exhaust is not Borla. It's a GHL system, with FLP longtube headers and no cats.

I'm a regular on the corvetteforum, but this is the first I've heard or seen of this site...pretty cool.

I know Rick too, "cash flo", he also lives in Pewaukee, and his Mallett Vette is just awesome.

Thanks for the welcome and compliments!

Welcome Tom. Beautiful car!! Totally badass. What all is done to the motor? I love those wheels and front skirt.
The engine is basically stock right now. The only performance mods done to it is a K&N twin cone air filter, the long tube headers, no cats, and a 3.90 differential.

Later this fall it will hopefully get a set of AFR heads and a LG G5X4 cam. :devil
THEN it should sound badass. :D

I work in Hartland, so I'm a somewhat common sight on 83 and 16.

Speaking of Vettes, does anyone know of the Nassau (medium) Blue C5 hardtop running around Hartland/Pewaukee area? I've seen it on 16 a few times, but I wasn't in my car any of those times. It looks to be a little custom too, but hard to tell passing the other way on the freeway.
I know of most of the Vettes in this area, especially the few custom ones, but this is a new one I've not seen before this year.

I saw that car a few days ago parked in the lot of Best Buy in Delafield. It has a body kit of some sort on it.

Awesome car!!!!

Not sure I like the painted interior though.

I've seen your car out at the Carousel (may it rest in peace, lol) Car Show before. Very nice, but I kinda got the same feelings on the painted interior pieces. To each his own though! I saw the Mallet car out at Pistol Petes last year on Vette night. Very, Very nice car. He's got quite a thick book of everything he's ever done to that car too. Almost seems like he dyno's the car after he changes even the slightest thing! "Ah, I'll put some different spark plugs in it or a different air filter and dyno it!" Guess it is a good way to really know if the new parts you put on really do anything for you. :thumbsup
