HaleStorm and Shinedown

Did anyone go to the shinedown show last nite at summerfest? The band that played before them called HaleStorm.....simply awesome. That girl has a lot of talent...anyone see Halestorm and Shinedown last nite?

I saw shinedown right when they played simple man then 45. Awesome concert, those guys are great in person. Place was freagin packed too. We were way in back behind the spot light tower by a bunch of non-stop yellers, haha.

Yeah, 45 was cool...it was funny the guys next to us kept telling him to shut the f*ck up and play the song already when he was doing his little speech beforehand. "If I wanted this ****, I would have gone to see alter bridge!"

I was there also with Madison Dave....I thought the concert was pretty bad honestly. Simple Man was done well...45 was a 15 minute version. I agree all the preaching got old REALLY fast. Not the best show that I have seen at Summerfest thats for sure.

Since I do security at the rock stage I have seen all the bands that have played there so far. As far as I care, they all sucked so far except for last night, Metal Man and the dude from Poison.

Yeah I thought halestorm was awesome. I was like 4th row in the front so that was pretty sweet. As for all the preaching, I didnt think it was too bad, thats just who he is I guess.
