Very nice truck!

I'm not making fun but why do the diesels smoke so much? I mean we have a 8cylinder turbo/supercharged detriot that makes over 1600lb ft of tq and it doesnt smoke at all during wot?

The smoke is unburnt fuel from a lack of air(turbo too small), when the turbo spools up it smokes less. A larger turbo or a shot of N20 will "clean up" the smoke and net a large hp gain. In order to clean up the smoke my truck makes, I would need a .125 solinoid and between a .080 and .100 jet.

Ah cool!!! So you planning on getting a bigger turbo? How far can you take the stock internals? (max hp/tq?)

turbo kit with new downpipe and intake plumbing $4500...................2 stage N20 kit $700. Nitrous is looking really really appealing. The stock internals are pretty much bullet proof. Above 50psi you need to stud the heads, thats it. I have a friend that is in NC and he dynoed at 890rwhp and 1600+rwtq(flatlined the dyno for tq). All stock internals. I know of about 10 trucks over 700rwhp and all are doing fine. I have some pictures of the crank and connectng rods and such, I will se if I can find them to post on how huge they are.
