How much is the percentage that they take for selling a car? I hear its more than what they take if your selling regular items.

put it in parts cars, and pimp all the boards you can with the link. they charge you less for that ad if i'm not mistaken.

Yup... Slo is right. Parts is the cheaper way to go. Most people just search in the search box so cram as much as you can into the title.

Sold my Honda on ebay for $1300. Cost me a little more than $80 in e-bay fees. If you put it in parts, it will definatlely cost more since the final price is based upon percentage of your final value. That is unless you selling a car that's not worth that much. Hope that helps.

Depends on how much you're selling the car for I guess. I sold a sled on there last fall for almost $2000 and the fees weren't more than $50. Sleds get billed the % rate like parts not a flat fee like cars. Ebay charges you a listing fee depending on the price you start the auction at and then they take like 2.5-3% off the final auction value. So do the math and see if it's cheaper to pgo the % route of pay the $85 flat fee....
