While I'm stationed in FL and living in an apartment, my 10 month yellow lab is living with my parents in New Berlin. It's time to have her fixed. The vet (I am not sure which one, or where they are located) quoted them $400 for the surgey. I'm going to have it done, but that's about twice what I've heard of other people paying! I was wondering if anyone can recomend a good vet in the New Berlin area that will not rip me off! Thanks.

My parents have been taking their dogs to the New Berlin Animal Hospital for 8+ years now and always have been very happy. Its the one right by Pick 'N Save on Moorland and National.

I had both our dogs fixed at the Franklin Veternarian Clinic. They both were in the area of $200/ with blood work and IV fluids. One Male Weimaraner and one female Jack Russell.

$400 seems INSANELY high.

Don't knock them...they give plenty of free antibiotics for any venerial diseases you might have as well. And they have such a touch that they really know how to bring out the kid in you...

Try this place. I was sent there on a recommendation when I moved out this way and it is a great vet. Seems 25-30% cheaper for everything than my last vet in Franklin.

I'm guessing you would recommend this clinic? How long ago did you have this done? I've got a good friend who lives in Franklin looking for a Vet to go to...

Both dogs were done less than 2 months ago. They treated my dogs and I better then any other Vet I have used in Milwaukee County.

my sister got her rat terrier done two days ago @ Hartford Animal Clinic.

$140 inc. bloodwork.

funny side note -- the doc said "Scotch is quite a boy" Apparently her Rat Terrier has a big ****.
