as I mentioned before... my struts are shot and have been for sometime. I got about 91,000 on the GTX now. My rears tires are wearing terribly on the inside. I did alot of shopping around. Thought I'd share my findings.

after much much reading on clubgp.com I've come to the conclusion that unless you want to drop almost $1000 on Koni adjustables and drop only .8-.9 of an inch, then this is the setup to go with. I hope to get it all in before this weekend. I'll post up what I think of it all.

I see no point in dropping crazy money trying to make the grand prix handle better. It's just not the right platform to start on. FWD, weight distribution, weight, are all against you anyway.

The KYB GR-2's I had on my cavalier blew in about 1-2 months with 1.75" drop. Supposedly KYB only warranty's their struts for somewhere around a 1-1.25" drop.

I read on Jbody.org the cut off is 1.5 inches below stock. I just read that this weekend and now I am considering maybe a different strut.

Yeah...you're right. It is 1.5". I couldn't remember. All I do remember is that they didn't last long :).
