So did anyone else go running to get their car to cover?

I was at home this afternoon when some of the storms came through. I had my wife's Forester in the driveway, thinking I would leave it there till I went to get her. Needless to say I was NOT expecting hail. I ended up grabbing a trash can cover to hold over my head as I went running to get the Forester into the garage.

I have to show two pics. The first one is the sewer drain on the street. This was taken maybe 5-10min after the hail started.

This was a nice little piece of hail that smacked me in the leg. Most of it was 1/2 this size though.

My truck hasn't seen a raindrop in over a year, and I don't have plans for it to see water again unless i'm washing it.

My mom works by the airport and I heard the hail got up to an inch and a half in size(according to her and channel 6 news).

Yeah not a drop out in Waukesha. I heard MKE shut down all air traffic for a bit as the storm pushed through.

Hail was nuts. I knew it was big but then the news said inch and a half hail by the airport.Thats by me and i put my car in the garage. Stopped real fast and got sunny after again.
