So my SES light went on while i was driving this past weekend and I think I know what it is.. My tranny's slippin.. I can feel it .. What does it mean when you drop it down a gear and you dont slow down (mind you this is an A4) .. I gotta take it to my mechanic tomorrow : /.. ANy ideas?

Go to autozone and get it scanned... There are 1400 Diff codes (pending on car) in a obdII system... So we kinda NEED to know the code(s).
Have you EVER changed the fluid and filter? prolly a PO757 for stuck/binding shift solenoids if the tranny is actually having slip/shift problems, valve body would need to be dropped and flushed with brake cleaner. and a new filter and fresh dexronIII be installed back in.
