Alright, everything was going easy, until we had to disconnect it from the stearing linkage. There is a pin that is pressed in that holds the linkage onto the gear on the rack. This pin is A. hardend, becasue it wont drill out. B. rusted in, because it wont press out. C IDK :fire . We also tried to disconnect the linkage up a few inchs from the race, but that was rused in place too. I need suggestions ASAP please!!!!! BTW, this is on a 93 daktoa. Anyone wanna make some extra $..... ill give ya $20 if you can get it off.

well in your picture all there seems to be is a screw hole and a joint, i see no "pin" and if you can't get it out, drill it out

that thing that the screw driver is pointing too, all it is is a pin, no screw or any sort. Tried to drill it out, but i think its hardend.

the screwdriver pic is blurry as **** man, all i see is the end of the joint of the rack, the screwdrier is next to what appears to be a threaded hole

If I am seeing it right, it looks like a press-fit sleeve that is similar to the piston/rod connection. If you don't need to reuse it, try using a wooden dowel or something and beat it out with a mallet/hammer.
