That cobra has 600rwhp if I remember right :)

I know the guy that did all the install/tuning.

The cossie was not street legal, and unfortunately he did not start it. But the owner took time to explain details of the car and History.

The Black Cobra Vert does make 600hp. According to the owner.

Black Vert has Whipple and Cams. He told me he was hoping to make 660 rwhp. He will make more than that I am sure having cams. At least now I know who does cams on these cars :D I plan on doing cams and headers next.

Heh, over 100 v8's at the show and everyone is raving about the rice.

Heh, I'm a ford guy even and that thing just doesn't do it for me at all.... especially sitting right next to a 1 of 300 car on one side and the ever rarer pantera on the other.

Sorry maybe I just don't get it but I just find that amusing.

On a side note... whoever the moron in the chevelle was was acting like a child. He tried to get in the show with it, then was promptly told it's a ford only show. He then tried to claim that it was a ford, and that his title even says so. So then after being denied a second time he got mad and drove into the show anyways only to be turned away. He then left half his tires on the street next to the show and proceeded to drive by a bunch more times blipping the throttle and proving to be more of a moron than previously thought. Wonder what his deal was? I certainly hope this bonehead is no one on here. :fire :fire

Sorry Dave but I have to disagree. That particular model of rally car absolutely dominated the World Rally Car circuits for Ford/Cosworth in the early to mid 90's and has a very interesting history. This example that was at the show was restored very carefully to exact specs as it would have raced at the time.

It should also be mentioned that the car took judges choice as Best of Show by a unanomous decision (no, I wasn't a judge).

Now the Chevelle guy at the show, that's a different story. What was he thinking? I didn't realize the backround of his being there but I happened to be in the area when he was leaving and moved the cones for him. He didn't seem very happy but it shouldn't have been too hard for him to figure out that he was at the wrong show. :durr

Well I guess we can agree to disagree. Like I said maybe I just don't get it... but then again I'm one of those closed minded v8 guys :goof

Anyways, yeah that chevelle guy was quite a tool! Or he thought us new-school guys had no idea what a chevelle was  :chair: :chair: :flipoff2:
