On Tuesday the 3rd and Wednesday the 4th, the Champ Cars will be testing at the Milwaukee mile from 9:00 to 5:00. On Tuesday at 5:30 there is a driver autograph session in the Expo Center. The best part is that it's FREE! I dont' know if parking is free.

Wow, I just spent about 2 hours :stare reading all the technical info on that site about Champ cars!! Heres some stuff I found:

The engine is a Turbocharged, 2.65-litre (161 cubic inches) V-8
Fuel: Methanol
Horsepower: Approx. 750. 12,000 RPM redline.

0-60mph: 2.2 seconds
0-100mph: 4.2 seconds
Top Speed: Approx. 240 mph

They have a huge 21 page "Dr. Dyno" Questions and Answers section with a lot of neat stuff. Someone asked what the cars would run in the dragstrip and Ford Cosworth's official answer is right about 9.0 @ 170+MPH!!! :headbang

The Champ Cars have a cool turbo sound that you become addicted to. Don't ask me about the IRL and their crapwagons that sound like chit. THEY SUCK :flipoff2:
