Dells Car Show...

Hey I was just wondering if anyone else here is going to be attending the Dells car show this May? Iam going with my brother and a buddy of ours leaving on the 20th and stying all weekend. Anyone else?

I will be up there with my friend and his g/f. We are all piling up in her Grand Am. It will be the first year that the truck wont be cruising the streets.

Yes, also going, it better not rain like it did last year :punch: . Its May 21 and 22 at Noah's Ark. Pretty huge show, one of the biggest in 3 state area, but then there is IOLA, cant wait, even bigger! :wooo

Prince, its currently being taken care of along with the rearend of the car, but I'll see how it turns out when its done and probably still have you take a look at it and give me your opnion when its all said and done.

Yes last year was shitty. It rained most of the time. Dells is pretty boring when you cannot do anything outside

I'm going up there again. Every year we have a 3/S (3000GT/Stealth) gathering of around 50 cars in the Dells during that weekend at one of the resorts. All of us attend the old time car show to check out the sweet rides. Hopefully it won't rain again like last year, grr.

fastest karts in the dells are at a place called Fast track. They are off of the strip and not a lot of people know of them. Place rocks. :headbang

You must be talking about that one out of town on the (North West ??) side next to the Horse Ranch....... Those ARE incredible!!! They are so fast you can't keep the gas WOT or you will spin out on the corners. One time I was racing there and it started to drizzle :stare MOST FUN I EVER HAD ON A KART!! :rolf It got sideways on nearly every corner and I think I spun out 3 times in 1 lap without even trying :banana

ill be going up there after work on that friday (5:30-6:00ish) and ill be taking the camaro. If anyone wants to cruise up there with me lemme know. One of my friends has a cabin in Necedah and my gf and her WHOLE family is staying at a hotel in the Dells. So drop me an email or PM and let me know because i would much rather be cruisin with someone instead of solo incase something happens with the car.

fast track is on the hill by Noahs arc, its on the strip, just tucked back behind um, i think its a pizza joint. when we went, they had like 8hp Honda motors on those bad boys, it was nuts

yes very true, its all hilly and stuff, can't stay on the throttle all the time. plus the dudes running it in the offseason (we went in like september) we buddies from school, i did work on the one guy's stereo, so they put the throttles all the way up, those carts were DAMN fast

the way this weather has been lately Iam getting a bit concerned about mother nature hitting us up with another crappy weekend for this Dells show. Iam really hoping that things will take a turn for the better by mid next week.
