Nice 2nd Gen. My dad's got a 71 Formula he bought new, the motor was rebuilt by Dan Whitmore a few years ago.

Here's a pic of a polished TTII.

BTW what's the powerplant?

Sittin under the hood is a 350. I looked up the VIN before and it actually came with a 350 in 75'. It has a mild build and moves decent for the weight of the car, but I havent really had a chance yet to really get on it seeing as the motor only has around 500-600 miles on it now so its not at the broken in point for me to hammer on it. Anyone know where to look for prices on those torque thrust wheels? I seriously think that they would look tits on the car also wondering if they make them in 15's or would it just be 16's? Thanks again guys. Grmrepr5.0 FTR all the way man!

I like. If it was mine, I'd stick with a 15" rim.

[American Beauty]Whose car is that out front? :confused

Mine. 1975 Pontiac Firebird. The car I always wanted and now I have it. I rule! [/American Beauty]

Thanks TransAm12sec for the info. Also the sig was created by the one and the only CrypticGTX, it was his handywork and he did a killer job, I love it. Thanks again ANdy for the sweet signature!

a chin spoiler of some sorts(did they have one for that body style?)

lower it some

those torque thrust 2's would look good and be relatively cheap, but get them 17" front 18" rear :) if you can afford better, there are a ton of options that would look great!

Some great ideas right there man, yeah they had the front spoiler on the bottom for these years, also had the g/f packages behind each tire too that IMO looks cool. Iam not sure what kind of mods I would have to do get a bigger tire size such as 17' or 18's to fit on this car. But Iam pretty sure that I will stick with 15's or maybe 16's just for the simple fact that I know they will bolt right on and the tires are cheaper cause Iam looking to invest in some Nittos in the very near future. But after looking at those TTII's they are stuck in my mind and I think Iam gonna look to purchase some cause they would deff set the car off and make it look even better. If anyone has any other ideas or constructive critisim please lem me know, all the ideas so far have been great. Thankyou all very much for your help and when I do get the new wheels and what not I'll def post some pics for you all to wittness the new looks. But it could be some time.

JUST the chin spoiler would look awesome. not the whole trans am setup. i'll agree with you there. there's not much to fitment. what you gotta do is look at "plus sizing" a rim. a 245/50/16 is the same as a 245/40/17 and the same as a 245/35/18 if memory serves me right. same width, the sidewall of the tire gets thinner while the rim gets bigger. get what i mean? but yeah, tires is a BIG thing. I wonder how that car would look with some Z06 dark grey rims on it? hmm

Dang Chris (crawlinz) now you are putting ideas into my head that I dont have money for, Iam starting to see that there are too many options and combos that I can put on my car to set it off. The possabilities :D
