Wanted: 98-02 FBody stock brakes (Calipers, Rotors)

I need to get ahold of a set of stock Front brakes off a 1998-2002 FBody of any type, Firebird, Camaro, V6, LS1 anything will work. Maybe even an LS1 Corvette but it has to be a 12" rotor. I need the 12" rotor Fbody brakes (It may measure out to 11.6"). I need 2 rotors, 2 calipers, I'm not sure if there is anything else

I know some of you may have upgraded to bigger systems; drop me a line and let me know what you've got.

I know I can get new ones from AutoZone but I want to get ahold of Factory GM / "PBR" units. Your parts will be put to heavy duty use and GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! :thumbsup :)

Are they original GM calipers or aftermarket replacement? What type of red paint? (Powercoat, spray bomb, enamel etc.) I'm extremely interested. My truck has red trim, so a little red hiding behind the wheels would work perfectly!!!

I'm doign the LS1 Brake conversion too eventually this year hopefully! But ill leave that out of this thread for now :rolf

Mine are red but easily sanded or cleaned. I would still clean up the pistons and rebuild them as with any used calipers. I would say $25 for the pair.. Mike pmd first so if hes still interested, he got dibs.

I can't deny that, but I did reply as soon as I logged back in. I don't need the brakes so badly as to argue over them, I just felt I had to say something.

i offered Yoosof $50 for the calipers,
and if ya really want them, i can keep looking,
as i just want them for spares, while i'm at the race track.
i'm guna buy them from yoosof, unless ya tell me ya want them.

dont worry about LS1 rotors, just get the calipers & you will need the Mounting Bracket for the calipers?

as far as rotors, go to Checker auto, or anywhere, and buy the cheapest Front rotors ya can find for a 2002 Camaro.

I buy Brembo's Rotor blanks, for $50 each.

usually after about 7 track sessions, they Crack.

my last set has lasted 11 track sessions!!!!!!!
