Oh man we could use that thing on the farm. If only it had a machine gun mounted on the roof. :banana

That one right there is the best kind to get. Still has the old Manual Tranny/transfer case. But it has the newer/better engine in it. On top of that is has the non CTIS super single style wheels and not the small duals. For anyone that may want to buy an old military truck stay away from the CTIS, pain in the ass to deal with.

I would love to find one just like that but slightly more used(cheeper) Cut the rear axel off, take the crane and body off and drop an old suburban body on it. When I finaly have the money to build a mud truck thats what it will be.

I can vouche for that! Most of the older ones had the crapy n/a multifuel engine! This ones a turbo with a manual tranny!

A resident in my apartment complex has a friend that comes by every once in a while that has an old military truck that crusies through here every once in awhile. The thing is loud as heck. I didnt know that it was legal to drive those on any public roads unless its used for military purposes??

Nope you can buy em and register em! All I know is we got of the new types of military trucks and they're pretty loud!

I've always wanted to buy one take the muffler off and register it. You dont have to go to emissions and you'd NEVER get pulled over. If you did just say thats how it came!!! :thumbsup

I see myself getting one but I don't know where I'd park it :goof
