My buddy from Gatzke and Rupelt has started his own firm and passed me his new number.

Ask for Scott Schmidlkofer or Basil 414-259-9300 or email <mailto:Schmidlkofer@lawintosa.com>

Make sure you tell him Yoosof referred you so he knows to take care of you. He does traffic in almost any local counties and most other work as well. I had him fight a ticket for me all the way down in Walworth county :headbang

FYI, West Allis drag racing tickets can NOT be reduced. He just let me know that the city is not budging on those tickets so BE CAREFUL!! For any other ticket in Milwaukee county, he will charge a flat rate of $125 and can get them reduced if not dropped. Out of county will be a higher amount. Please let him know that you are with Brew City Muscle. This applies to the BCSM, CponyGo and MMA guys if you guys are interested.

i was on teh freeway with the cruise set around 68, a PT crapper moves over in front of my in the left lane for no aparant reason, and i mean RIGHT in front of me, i almost rear ended her, i hit the brake, and quickly moved around her with a bit of a swerve (i was pissed) then went by her and moved back in front of her, the sheriff claimed it to be dangerous lane navigation, cutting :punch:

F'ing POS Troopers. I get pulled over on my way to Madison, written warning for no front plate, verbal warning on tint. I get pulled over in the EXACT same spot, 2 days later, on my way home from Madison at 230am. He had someone pulled over and I passed him in the left lane (he had them pulled over in the right lane) and clocked me at 76.

$186 and 4 points!

"Do you know how fast you were going?"
ummm about 80? A little under?

*pause*

"Any reason why you were going that fast past a fully marked crusier?"
uhhh, just trying to get home?

"Well you were going 11 over and that is enough for a ticket so I will be giving you one"

Troopers are ruthless. I try and get off the freeway at a rest stop/exit as soon as I find out I'm behind one since there's always something "wrong" with my cars.

I got real lucky driving to Minneapolis just before the Dells, a FIB was going 90-95 and I was trailing her for at least an hour. Trooper was hiding in the center median, basically in the woods with his ass end towards the front of our cars. She didn't even blink and I slammed on the brakes as soon as the V1 went off. He passed me a mile down the road, looking at me while driving and continued to pull over the Taurus

I know they handle different kinds of law so I would call them to ask about accidents. They handled an eviction, tax law and real estate law for me so far not to mention numerous tickets:crying :wow

Forget about Jefferson County. Got pulled over for doing 11 over at 2am. He had someone pulled over, I moved over to the far lane and slowed to 75ish. The person was just pulling out then he pulled me over. "Why were you going so fast past a patrol car" **** youuuu.

Anyways, with a spotless driving record, J.county refused to drop it to a 0 point ticket like I have every other ticket. I was willing to pay them 3-$400 in a fine with a 0 point ticket. They lowered it to 3 points. Whoop dee doo.

Jefferson is the worst. I have been pulled over in that county numerous times. Now I just set the cruise control at about 2 over. I was pulled over once for 7 over and the trooper acted like I was doing 20+ over. Ridiculous.

LOL just got one at lunch today too... merging onto 45 S off hwy Q in Menomonee Falls, tried getting out in front of a pepsi truck in the slow lane, and the cop was sitting just past that crosswalk over top the highway on the shoulder... got me at 84 in a 65 LOL $167 and 4 pts.

lol. yea. The cop I dealt with was actually not bad. He wasnt able to clock me, or get the guy that was speeding next to me. But if he would have, I bet it would have been a 6 pointer. The cop was kind of an ass tho, when he asked me how fast I was going. I told him I really didnt know. but he kept tryin to get me to tell him a speed. It was a tense little argument.

Anyone know where to get in??

I need to drop the money off so they can get started on it for me.

Scott responded to my email the same day, Basil called me the next day to confirm everything and explain details, He feels they can easily get mine dropped to a non moving violation.

I am new to this board, and actually found it through a link through MFBA looking for a WI lawyer. I used Basil and he got my 4th excessive speeding ticket this year dropped to less points. I also got a letter stating WI is taking my license away for 5 yrs for habitual speeding and he is going back to court for me to get that taken care of. All for a flat fee. My IL lawyer charges almost $900 to make an appearance for me in court! Thank you guys.

Just wondering if I should get some help with it? Do these guys show up for you (you don't have to be there) ?

She only gets a ticket about every 6 years so I don't think it would effect the insurance. But if she were to get another one the way the cops seem to be this year :fire , I'm sure they would raise our rates if they were to check.

I got a ticket in Big bend a few years ago , showed up and they dropped it from 10-15 over to 1-7 (4pts to 2) same fine around $100.

I have a work related injury from my last place of employment, and I just received my "end of healing exam", and the employer's insurance has sent me just over $2k now, even before the state has issued their "Partial Perminant Disability" judgment.... contemplating seeing a lawyer before going farther. The Department of Workforce Development has issued a judgment against the employer for lost wages and safety violations concerning my injury, to be paid to me.... but that could take for ever for them to pay. I'm surprised the Insurance company even started payment before the State issued their judgment in the first place, but I dont want to get suckered into settling for next to nothing. Exp. since they never changed or fixed anything that caused my injury in the first place (over 21 OSHA violations).

Yooformula
08-12-2009, 09:51 PM
have you gone back to any job since the injury? if so, then I think they may claim you are healed now and try that route but if you havent gone back to work. contact the state as they tend to lean hard on employers in cases like these. I had a work related injury and I was shocked at much attention the state gave me to make sure i was damm ready and happy to be released.

SpdRcrZ
08-12-2009, 10:49 PM
I was cleared one month after the injury, to return to work..... although very limited duty (couldnt use my right hand/arm for another couple months). Its now been almost 3 years since the date of injury. Months of healing, and over a year of rehab, 2 surgeries, and more rehab...... its not 100% back to normal, but its reached its "peak" so to speak.

Maybe I'll start my own thread, and post pics..... lol. I dont think I ever mentioned it on here to tell you the truth.

Once again Basil prevails. He pulls Jedi mind tricks on Judges and other law types. With a wave of his hand, "These aren't the tickets you wanted to give my client. You wanted to give a non moving violation instead".

Got my ticket resolved by Basil. originally a 6 point/ reckless driving/ $303 ticket. He got it reduced to 4 points/ Imprudent speed/ $150-200 fine. still waiting for the paperwork to come. So he was able to get it to a minor violation which is good.

Walworth is a TOUGH county to fuck with. dont expect too much. I know Scott made numerous attempts on my behalf to get mine reduced and I wasnt speeding too bad but they just dont like to drop or reduce tickets there.

Anyone ever get a 3 point Following too closely citation dropped?

Short story: Going west on Beloit road (2 lanes in each direction) approaching highway 100 around 4pm, tons of people getting off the freeway, I was in a group of 15 cars or so and in the inside lane, one car is in front of me.

I was looking in my blind spot to change lanes and not hit anyone, there was no room so when I look back forward, the car infront of me is gone (I assume he did the same thing I was trying to do and merged over) there is a work van dead stop in the middle of Beloit rd. attempting to turn left into a driveway. Obviously it was not his fault, but I was going about 35-40 and he was going about 0. I ended up hitting the breaks and and swerving around him, avoided rear ending him, however I caught the corner of his bumper and tore up the driver's side of my car.
The van had some denting and a crunched up bumper, my car was much worse, but drivable.

Greenfield PD gave me following to closely because according to the officer they have to give a ticket in all accidents.

Thinking about calling Scott or Basil but this seems like a ticket that would be hard to get dropped.

Anyone know if Racine County budges at all on construction zone tickets?
I'll give them a call soon and see what they say.

Basil is currently handling a few Hales Corners tickets for me.

1) Drag Racing

2) Violating permit restrictions on a Class M license (operating during hours of darkness)

It's a long story, but anyway, the case has not concluded yet, but Basil was telling me they will drop the 6 point drag racing ticket to Obstructing Traffic, 2 points, and the second ticket will be dropped all together. As others have experienced, he does good work.

Nowadays if you go to court yourself, they hand you a sheet, and 90% of the offenses have 3 offers, you just pick one in front of the judge...
A. Not Guilty (later trial date)
B. Guilty
C. No Contest (reduced/zero points, slightly increased fine)

My 79 in a 55 (4pts, ~$235 fine) was reduced to improper parking, on the spot. 0pts, $295 fine.

I was in & out in 15minutes :)

All they are interested in is the money. As long as you aren't a delinquent when it comes to traffic laws they will happily trade points for more cash. I see most of these tickets as another way to 'tax' us.

I contacted Basil the other day and he thinks he can do some good in my situation as well. I'll post back when/if things get finalized.
