View Full Version : Integra trouble!
I was driving up my driveway when it just decided to stop working as if I turned the ignition off.
The starter still works and I checked to see if the timing belt broke, which it didn't.
If any of you have ideas about htis, let me know!

Check the distributer. I had to replace one on mine when I had it. Very common.

More than likely your coil or igniter as acura calls it. Had to do one on mine. Just
buy a new/reman dist. Save you a headache. :thumbsup
I just checked the prices
Do you think that an overdue tune-up (cap, wires, plugs) would cause a bigger problem?

very good chance its your main relay, they go poo every 100k or so on some hondas. whats the pic of?
The pic is the "button" or rotor inside the cap.
I did some testing and found the primary resistance of the coil to be 1.3 ohms when the manual specifies 0.6 to 0.8 ohms. I think this is the issue
Goin' to napa to see what they say...
It's alive!
The cloil needed to be replaced ($88)
Thanks for the help.
Um...now I am smelling gas when it idles. I don't know if it has one of those fuel systems which can adjust itself via the o2 sensor. But I also have an exhaust leak (understatement), but it is near the muffler.
