so got the car done, took it down to speed inc today (friday) to get it tuned...398 hp 394 tq happy with the numbers then on the way back my buddy was like hey, great lakes is on the way lets go. Best run was a 13.6 @ 113. First time at the track it was a blast. Still need to find traction and oh yea......learn how to drive :rolleyes:

All I am going to say is that with a better 60 ft time that mph(113) is good for an 11.9 all day. However traction and that 1.6 60 ft time are the key to that magical run.

motor has stage 2 patriot heads, .571/.581 224/230 112lsa cam hooker long tubes to hooker exhaust, ls6 intake and the odds and ends that go along with those

How does it feel compared to before? Now that you got the HP, next thing is maybe traction and a rear end? :( Bummer but GM didn't bless those cars with a decent rear end. Hope to see you out this year!

yep thats me, same guy who started the thread last fall about gettin to the low 12's with some amount of money i forgot but it was a big drama one, went a little over budget but i think i can get there shortly. im not sure if that was you are a different syclone guy tho, oh well said and done with. traction is on the way :headbang

My best was a 1.59 but i the fvcking car had plugwire issues that night
something is still wrong ,it should do at least a high 12 with a 2.3 60
I'm guessing its a stick car-car should do a 12.2 or so on a 1.7--Windsor f-bodys are heavy -but the car should do better at the track
