Ok so i'm putting 18inch rims on my car and they don't fit in the rear with the stop bumper..... has anyone else incountered this problem and if so, did u just use the BFH to fix it"?

just remove that bumpstop and the two bolts, and then hit it with a hammer. I guarantee that the tires on my ride are wider than the ones you are running :) just takes some anger management to get 'em to fit :)

i fit my 325's underneath that have a cross section width of over 13", hha. you can get those to fit. don't you have z06 rims?

Ive got 315s on the back of my car on the 17s and i can fit a finger between the tire and the bumpstop.

otherwise do like chris said, remove the stop and pound the mount down.

Yup, z06 wheels chris, the wheel fits, just tire sits right on the bumpstop because of the width.. Looks like the BFH is my last resort, because no one recommends spacers. That mound is tough as ever though.... this will be fun...

just remove the two bolts and take the bumpstop out. then trial fit it again. also, don't forget that once the car is back on the ground, that wheel is gonna go up in the wheelwell. i still beat mine down because how much sidewall there was on the 15" tire, so in case it flexed in a corner i didn't want it rubbing.

SPACERS ARE BAD!

Yup, thats one thing we didn't try.. to let it down after the bumpstop. We'll work on it today... Thanks Chris and Tom.

Goof point about that wheel well thing, maybe try jacking the car up under the pumpkin of the rear end so the suspension will have weight on it and it will sit at ride height so you can get the wheel on. The only prob i see is if you air it, that tire might rub on the mount :goof but otherwise it should be fine.
