You can rent a Viper or a vert vet? I wonder how much they would charge for one of those. Probably an arm and a leg and they check it of with a fine toothbrush and comb when you bring it back. Sweet pics btw.

When I was out there, it was generally 300-450 for a half-day, IIRC. 600+ for a full day. Prices may be more reasonable now though...

I had a friend who said there are some strange rules about renting those cars though. Basically, If you trip a rev limiter (and it may be set lower than the redline) the car shuts off and will not restart...meanwhile, the car gets towed back, and you forfiet your deposit. Also heard that many are "detuned" to help keep darwin from weeding out the stupid in their cars...

...again, just what I heard. Could all be BS, or different at different shops.

EDIT: The first rental place looks like it's just down almost next to the riviera

Or a blasting furnace....I was out there to play in a poker tourney at the mirage a few years ago around that time of year. Most of the days the temps were ~120 degrees, hotter by the streets :wooo

My brother just got back. Someone he was with inquired about it. The Viper was $400 for a full day.

A couple friends of mine just got back from vegas. They rented a yellow ferrari f355 'vert just like the one in the 3rd pic, it cost ~$350 for 12 hours. Not a bad deal if you split with a couple friends IMO. Unfortunately, the car's are limited to 120 mph and no v12's are available.

I went to Vegas last August and it averaged about 100-110 during the day, and about 75-80 at night. It actually wans't too bad unless you got caught up in big crowd of people...

I have never been there, but a few people I know said that they were never wet from sweat because the air is so dry there.

[Note to Self]- time to get out of WI. But...the weather is getting better here...don't let it fool you...leave before the summer tricks you...get out!!!

Yeah, I'll have to disagree with that. True, the air is really dry there, but on our second day, we walked to Downtown (old vegas) and it was about 105*. I think my sweat was starting to sweat by the time we got there. I walked into a gas station to get a bottle of water, and my shirt was saoked!!!

But the heat sure does make it easy to drink a ton and not get a hangover!! :alcoholic It was like being on a whole different level down there. Drink til 5 in the morning, wake up at 10, and start all over again. We have a picture from the top of the Stratosphere Tower taken at 10:30 AM and we are both holdin 24 ozers. :D (They were between $1-$2 depending on where you got em. The most expensive beer I got there was a $8 Corona (normal size) from the bar in the Bellagio)

the viper is 275 for 5 hours and 450 for 24 hours, but the mile limit for 24 hrs is 100 miles kinda weak
