I think I will be ordering drop spindles for it, and possible upper arms if I can find a decent set for a good price. Was gonna have a 4 link made but I think James and I will make one out of some 3X3 box tubing

K, maybe I'm old and lost but WHY would you bag that? Keep in mind I love dropped trucks but that is beyond me right now :confused :wow :stare

To be different. I thought it was obvious by now that I like to build vehicles that most people would never consider doing. So far this thing has turned out to be alot of fun, and its not even half done

You really wanna be different with that thing? Do a 12" chop then put in a retractable full length sunroof. :headbang

I photoshopped a chop top onto it and I did'n't like how it looked at all. It looks alot more cartoonish as is.

I heard that Dennys on 27th closed its doors last week, so i think I'm gonna spin down there and see if I can purchase one of those corner booths for the van :thumbsup

Haha, sweet! I always wanted to hop up one of those "just to be different". Slam it, put some school centerlines on, and drop a BBC into it. The inside can hold a crap load I.C.E. too. Can't wait to see how it turns out. :thumbsup

P.S. One thing comes to mind when I see that van now, the movie Friday. :rolf

BIG WORM

Haha, classic :thumbsup The fam was buggin me earlier, so I went out and worked on it a bit, enjoying todays fine weather

The driveway was a bit crammed when I went out, so I moved some cars around and blah. Heres a photo of the van squeezed into the rear corner of my driveway
http://img.s10forum.com/album2266/aag.jpg

Took the front bumper off, grinded most of the rust pitting off of it, and painted it with black undercoating

http://img.s10forum.com/album2266/aaf.jpg

Hit everything in the front with undercoating, and about half of the rear bumper

And here it is reinstalled, fun fun

That thing would look pretty good with a 89-91 blazer/suburban billet grill, and being that they are both pretty flat it would probably be pretty easy to do.

So is that thing going to be like a mobile shop/display of you lighting stuff?

Could always replicate the "Wolfmobile"

Just gotta find some crazy bastard who's willing to do a handstand while you cruise down Hwy 100.

I got my drop spindles finally today, but these are either 1/2 ton spindles or just the wrong ones in general. No way we will be able to get these to work. Hrmmm

Got the front on the ground today, its about 8 inches from laying without spindles. I am either going to cut the lower bag cups 2 inches, or cut out the bottom of the lca and weld in some 3/8" steel and build a new bottom a bit lower then the factory bottom to get me 3 more inches of drop I think. As for spindles, I need to keep lookin for info cause it is NOT low enough
